  4. Works only in some IRC networks (hybrid-like ircds).

  6. KNOCK is a feature that lets you request access to a channel they cannot join without an invite, a key or a raised limit.

  8. The following conditions must be met for KNOCK to work:

  10.  - You are not banned from the channel
  11.  - Channel is not secret (+s) or private (+p)
  12.  - You are not already on the channel
  13.  - Channel is invite only (+i), has a key (+k) or limit is full
  14.  
  15. When successful KNOCK issued, it sends a notice to channel operators. Use of KNOCK is rate limited by server.
